As you know last week, over 500,000 people in Dallas was without power for up to 4 days. I was one who was out for 2 and a half days. I was talking on the .88 repeater and later got a call from a scanner listener. He told me he had a generator behind his plant that I could have if I just came and got it.
Attached is the photo. It is a 45KW Onan and will run on natural gas, propane or gasoline. I have it in my driveway and just got it going after about 10 hours of work. It had not been run since 1985.
I am now ready!
