All, We thought you would like to know that WWA SM Monte K2MLS was recently recognized at the the 2013 convention of APCO International, the world's largest organization of public safety communications professionals. The members selected ARRL Western Washington Section Manager Monte Simpson, K2MLS, as the Communications Center Director of the Year for 2012. Monte is the Communication Director for District 8 of the Washington State Patrol and brings his professional experience, knowledge and zeal to his job as WWA SM. James E.
