As a private pilot (as are some of you), I am a long-time member of the AOPA and get their publications. The short article today is at the link below. It discusses concerns previously raised during the FCC process that culminated in reallocation of portions of the 3.7 to 4.2 GHz frequency band, followed this year by auctioning the 3.7 to 3.98 GHz frequency range to 5G wireless providers. This sounds like the broadband over power lines concerns when ARRL proved in court that the FCC did not really listen to the engineers and scientist. 5G rollout in this range is delayed because of previously raised concerns about aviation radar altimeters.
