This week's ARRL Letter contains a small but irritating error in the "In This Issue" header.
"ARRL's Logbook of the World Counts More Than 150 Million Confirmed Contacts" is incorrect. The 150 million figure is for the number of raw QSO records that have been entered. It's a significant figure, but does not reflect the number of contacts confirmed via LoTW which is more than 10 million (the equivalent of more than 20 million QSL cards).
The reason it's irritating is that the error was caught earlier but apparently not corrected everywhere. I want to flag it for you all so you don't get trapped into a misstatement by quoting the figure.
