Miami… crowded and expensive. Cheaper in the summer, where the average high temperature is in the 90’s and the humidity is as well.
I’ve been involved with planning 150+ person events in this area – Dade/Broward has hundreds of hotels. Shopping a meeting in Orlando will likely be the easiest Florida destination
for travel and best value for accommodations.
75 people is pretty big for most of the really cool places, anywhere on the beach is outrageous.
The Riverside Hotel is in downtown Fort Lauderdale. They’d be my pick for this group in this area. Many restaurants within walking distance.
The Marriott in San Antonio is one of my all time favorite convention hotels, as is the Marriott.
Atlanta would likely provide the easiest travel. I had several team meetings at the Atlanta Airport Convention Center. Get off the flight, take the train to rental cars and
the convention center is on the way.
Many of us go through Atlanta on the way to Hartford.

Doesn't white knuckle driving build character?
More support for moving the Annual Meeting to a location that has a higher probability of no white stuff and temps above the range of hyperthymia.
Be safe.

Just a note that due to an impending ice storm in Portland this afternoon and tonight, United has already canceled my flight out for
tomorrow. Probably for the best anyway, as it would have been 35 miles of a white knuckle driving to the airport for me.
So, I am now booked to leave PDX Thursday AM on a different airline, and not arriving in Hartford until late that evening. I will have
to find somebody to run the scheduled PSC meeting, but I'll deal with that in a separate e-mail on the PSC reflector.
Diane, I will not be able to attend the dinner Thursday evening. I'll contact the hotel and cancel the Wednesday night stay there
Safe travels everyone! Mine is not starting out so well....
