Here is an
exciting update from Jackie on
our efforts in improving and expanding our on-line book sales on
Amazon.com and
Google.
Harold, this is great to see! Amazon can be hard to work with, so
congratulations to Jackie and everyone else involved.
I have noticed that Amazon from time to time seems to "recommend"
outdated versions of our license manuals. I hope this upload direct
from ARRL results in displacing citations of those old versions, but I
would encourage that discussion with them if it hasn't already taken
place.
As a registered instructor, I would be very disappointed if an
enthusiastic student purchased an outdated license manual instead of
the one they really need. I'm sure that is an issue every time we have
a transition in license manual editions, but where an electronic update
like this is possible, I'd hope we can avoid promoting the wrong
product.
