ODV,
Today the FCC released an Order in which it increased application fees to take account of inflation over the past two years. This is a biennial event directed by statute.
The statute directs that for application fees below $200., no change is to be made unless the change would be greater than $10. Over the past two years the calculated net CPI change is 11.6%, which equates to $4.06. Since this is less
than $10, amateur applications will remain at $35. For the next two years.
Please direct any questions to me.
