Now that I’m back home I just read his editorial. It was different that
the previous one I had seen regarding RM-11306.
Sad.
What REALLY chapped me even worse was the follow up slap in the face on
page 57, which of course is seriously lacking factual detail.
Well, like I said, I guess he feels since they are not enjoying all of
the positive growth we are the best thing to do is attack us. I really thought
Rich was above that but I’ve obviously been proven wrong.

Seems I recall years ago Sumner telling
stories about how the ARRL helped save them a couple of times when their
sales were so poor.
Maybe he doesn't need to be on one of the League's Committees next time around.
