Greetings. Memo attached. If the EC wishes to pursue either or both of the two matters discussed in this memo, the due date for Petitions for Reconsideration on both items is March 7, 2012, well before the scheduled EC meeting on March 24. Some guidance is therefore needed soon, perhaps next week.

 

I am copying the full Board on this matter due to recent postings on ODV on the same subject matter. It is hoped that this will bring new Board members up to speed on this and refresh the recollection of others.

 

Thanks to the new EC for reviewing this. If any member of the EC would like to review the FCC or ARRL documents referred to in this memo, I will provide them immediately.
