Frank, that story is of intense local interest around here, because Butts Farm, after which the aircraft was named, is a large horse farm and day camp near here. Beecher Butts is a pilot (though not a ham) and apparently a lot of the testing and design of the plane was done at Beecher's place. They are big landowning Quakers (a redundancy) and have a marvelous place to test the plane (and some nice horses to boot). Chris
