Jim, I don’t recall anything that would have led to the conclusion that Ruth Milkman was inclined to stonewall our issues.

 

Every change offers an opportunity to build a new relationship.

Although this may be too early to reach strong conclusions, what, if any, effect do you predict replacing Ruth Milkman is likely to have on moving responses to our petitions?  I am coming from an understanding that she has been a negative influence on developing and issuing action on some of these.

Newly appointed FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler announced his key staff appointments today. His Chief of Staff will be Ruth Milkman who has been heading the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau. Replacing her on an acting basis is Roger Sherman, who is coming to the FCC from the minority staff of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
