Harold,
This is excellent, of course. I see that the link to the membership form appears to be available only for renewals at the moment. I’m not certain if you announced a target date for making this feature available to new applicants. If you did, I apologize for failing to write it down. When do you expect new memberships will flow via Seibel without extra manual tinkering?
Tnx, 73,
Jim

To: HQ Staff
In case you had not heard, we achieved something very remarkable last week.
We are now able to move data from the membership page on our Web site https://www.arrl.org/forms/membership/ directly into our Siebel CRM system. This is a huge milestone since this now eliminates the need to manually re-key membership data from the Web. It also assures greater accuracy, more security for credit card transactions, and improved customer service.
Since orders are processed into the system very quickly (within a few minutes), the new system allows new members to use the membership section of the Web almost right away and receive their copy of QST in the mail much quicker.
Without going into a lot of detail, there are many other new and additional enhancements that this system upgrade has permitted. More enhancements will be coming on-line during the upcoming weeks and months.
Completing this project was a team effort. It took a year of dedication to the task and a lot of hard work.
These are the staff members who, as members of the Web-Siebel Integration Team, made this happen:
Jon Bloom
Katie Breen
Hugh Brower
LouAnn Campanello
Steve Capodicasa
Don Durand
Mary Hobart
Amy Hurtado
Bob Inderbitzen
Harold Kramer
Micah Murray
John Proctor
Barry Shelley
Sharon Taratula
Thanks again everyone and great job overall!
73,
Harold
