OK, here is the first question I've received from a member in my Division related to the PPP loan. What is the ARRL "official message" on this issue, and how do I answer this?

Supposedly the ARRL applied for a loan under the PPP (CoronaVirus stimulus) .  If true that raises two questions in my mind.

#1.  Has the ARRL laid off any employees due to COVID 19?

#2.  Has the ARRL lost income as a result of COVID 19?

 

I am not opposed to any “business” attempting to offset losses.  However I am concerned since the League is a member based “business” as to the justification of such an application if, in fact, one was made.
