That's good news Dave. We had sympathy pangs out here in nwKS. This weekend was the KS QSO Party, our Sesquicentennial year and 3rd year of the 'modern' KsQP (due in part to KX9X's encouragement). I had QRN the last 45 minutes from a thunderstorm. 20 minutes after the 3PM finish the storm collapsed and we had 70mph outflow. We lost power for 50 minutes and some limbs came down in town; our place is fine.

All 33 1x1 Zero calls ending in K-A-N-S-U-F-L-O-W-E-R were active and certs go to those spelling the state or its flower with Qs from those calls. I was W0S and enjoyed working K0CA W9GIG and 975 others, including DJ7RD with wire antennas. He hosted our family of seven for 2 days on our EA6/HA/OE/DL trip in January.

The HQ building and W1AW rode out the storm with no damage or disruption other than a few tree limbs. Newington did not lose power, although half of the state is dark (including the homes of a number of staff members).
