I'm pleased to announce the promotion of Becky Schoenfeld, W1BXY, our
current Book Editor, to the position of QST Managing Editor effective
immediately. Becky and I will be sharing QST and book production duties
as she makes her transition over the next few months. We do intend to
fill the Book Editor position as soon as possible.
Becky, W1BXY, has more than two decades of publishing experience. She
was Senior Editor at Teaching K-8 magazine, one of the most popular
magazines for childhood educators, and Senior Project Editor for the
prominent textbook publisher MacMillan/McGraw-Hill. Becky holds a
Master of Fine Arts from Emerson College and a Bachelor of Arts from
Fairfield University.
Her Amateur Radio activities include chasing grid squares in pursuit of
her 6-meter VUCC award and DX hunting on 10 meters.
