All -- My dad, Pat KE5AMF, called me (I'm in Atlanta) and said that he heard the ARRL's radio spot during Rush's show this afternoon on Albuquerque's local talk-radio station, 770 KKOB. He said it was excellent, and I referred him to the ARRL site to read all about it (like any good Vice-Director and son would do, HI) 770 KKOB is a 50,000 watt station, and their website says that they enjoy the 7th largest "signal coverage" in the United States. I called the sales manager at KKOB and asked how many listeners they get during Rush's show based on any marketing studies/ratings. I'll relay that info to the list when I get a response from him. At any rate...cool stuff! This is the kind of marketing the ARRL (and hobby) needs more of I think. I had the same thought as Rod.
