Please no more responses to blanket e-mails to the Board from W0OOW! I have been working with Steve for several months and he still insists on doing this. When he receives a response from another director it only emboldens him. 73, Wade W0EJ

Nope...that was why I started the email with "FYI". I know Fred personally, but have not seen him for about 5 years. In fact, this year at Field Day, my old Novice buddy WB5FDP and I were running the CW station and Fred's name came up. Fred used to work the CW station with us, but neither of us had heard from Fred in about 5 years after he took an early retirement from a company in Little Rock. In all of my conversations with Fred, I did not know he was a veteran nor did I know he had any connection with John Kerry. I was surprised to see him introduced last night. He's a super nice guy and if an opportunity presents itself in the future for Fred to provide some sort of assistance for amateur radio and he agreed to do so, he would do a great job. 73 Joel W5ZN/4 ATL Airport wireless p.s. [ARRL-ODV:11023] New e-mail reflector to share BPL information

Ed Hare is putting together an email reflector (bpl-local(a)arrl.org) to help hams in the many BPL teams across the country to better communicate with each other and share ideas. Please note that this is not an open reflector, and it will be limited to 1-3 representatives from each BPL team. This is necessary to keep the message volume and administration under control. In addition to representatives from local BPL teams, it will be open to ODV, SMs, section-level appointees or other official family members who are actively working with BPL teams or closely monitoring BPL in their areas. Ed will add individual SMs who have been in active communication with him on BPL and ensure that the SMs and Division Directors are aware of BPL teams in their areas.
