I'm afraid I was about the only one who missed Jim's testimony, regrettably. I had check my wife into the hospital. I'd have given at least one, eye tooth to have heard it. From all accounts, Jim, you did a masterful job. Congratulations. Then, again, what else should we have expected? 73, Jim W. 11 JUN, 2003 - 1505 CDT I listened to the hearing after it re-convened following lunch. Even though nothing will immediately come from a hearing like this, the amateur radio awareness-raising and networking is most important for our on-going and future political endeavors. Public Congressional political exposure for the ARRL has been too long missing. Jim did a great job presenting our case for amateur radio at this venue. Jim - a great job; not even delivered in Texan (for the most part :-) ). I bet Jim was about to spit nails as that one congressman waxed poetic early on about how glorious UWB could be, if only the evil FCC would loosen up a bit.......

It's obvious the hearing has either not started or is adjourned for lunch... but the microphones are still live! You can hear your federal bureaucracy live with all the informal chatter.
